Ann Arbor Ceiling & Partition has always strived to "stay ahead of the curve" when it comes to innovations in the construction industry. To that end, we are continuing to train our current LEED Accredited Professionals by taking the necessary updates as needed. Although the concept itself is an ever-changing movement, we feel that if we develop with it, we can offer our clients the benefit of the most current knowledge regarding Green Building. With so much emphasis these days on preservation of our environment and general personal health, Green Building makes good sense. We can envision a future where more and more local, state, and federal projects will require some level of LEED certification.
In addition to LEED accreditation, we have dedicated an individual to become fully versed in the concept of B.I.M. Like the LEED movement, we feel that B.I.M. will be a key element to design and construction in the near future. We are developing methods to incorporate our estimates into the B.I.M. model. We have pursued several projects already where B.I.M. has been a
requirement. These training efforts are just another part of our overall commitment to meeting the needs of our clients.
